Not sure how to organize Legos?

 If you have a Lego maniac at home then you know what I am talking about. You need to low how to organize legos and keep them organized. Well, at least to try.

I have been trying to find a solution to the “Lego madness” for a while. I am happy to say I found an arrangement that has improved things considerably. First, I found great little storage containers for the “people and special pieces”. My Lego Maniac has been doing a good job keeping them separate, but it took four boxes! It made me realize just how many Lego’s he actually has…and that he doesn’t need anymore.

{Be sure that you don’t expect a younger child to be able sort them unrealistically.  I have a 10 y/o who has always been pretty good about keeping things orderly.} 

Then I found this Craft Organizerat Micheal’s after seeing a Lego Idea and was inspired to solve the Lego problem once and for all. I am very happy to say not only has it worked well for us, but it also seems to help him in finding the right pieces because they are easier to find in shallow drawers than in one deep box big enough to hold them all.  I never realized that Lego’s required so much attention!

It took several hours to sort them all but the results have already paid off. Success!
