This is a family tradition to have on Halloween night. We enjoy this Chili recipe for the crockpot throughout the year, but somehow it’s perfect in the fall.
The nice thing about this recipe is that you can begin it in the morning and then leave unit ready to eat. If you want to speed things up you can brown the hamburger, onions, garlic, and peppers in a skillet on the stove and then add all ingredients to the slow cooker.

Oh thank you for letting me know! I always wonder if my recipes work for others. I know they work for me but I hope that I am explaining them well. I have never been much for for measuring. I am more of a pinch for this and pinch for that kind of gal. I tend to estimate. So writing them has forced me to think more exact. Thanks for the feed back. Funny thing is that this is actually on the menu today (no joke) and it will be perfect because it’s so snowy and cold here!
